Hotel Stanford

Was a great experience to stay within the Manhattan area. I would definitely try to book here. Great room and friendly staff. Location is in a good spot just inside KoreaTown. If you are not able to book here that is why because it is a good location. I would still suggest to book somewhere nearby this area if you are not able to book at this hotel.

This was a very pleasant stay. The location is unbeatable (5/5), putting you right where you need to be. Both the rooms and the service were also very good (4/5), making for a comfortable and well-rounded experience. A great choice for anyone looking for convenience and quality.

Stayed here during halloween week. We had a pleasant stay overall, thanks largely to the hotel’s excellent location. The subway entrance was right next to the building, and Penn Station was only about a five-minute walk away. Many major attractions were also within walking distance, including the Flatiron, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, and the New York Public Library. Getting around Manhattan couldn’t have been easier. Check-in was quick and efficient—done in less than 10 minutes. We initially had an issue with a faulty heater in our room. The staff responded promptly and sent someone to fix it, and when the issue persisted, they upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost. After that, everything went smoothly. Contrary to some of the comments we read beforehand, the hotel was generous with towels, and our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast during our four-day stay was consistently good. The selection was adequate and satisfying for a reasonably priced hotel: bagels and bread with butter, jams, cream cheese, and Nutella; green salad; muesli and cereals; yogurt; scrambled eggs; Vienna sausage; plus juice and coffee. A thoughtful touch was that they handed out bottles of mineral water before guests headed out for the day, which we really appreciated. It had all that we needed, nothing over the top, which was fine since we only had quick breakfasts — we were busy with a lot of activities planned ahead. We left our luggages for safekeeping upon early checkout and the hotel gave back our deposit when we came back to claim our luggages. Overall, we had a positive experience and would gladly stay here again.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. One guy in particular, Steven at the front desk who works late night shifts was very efficient in helping us with our requests. Me and my future wife will be coming back. The location is relatively quiet and safe as far as we know. Very nice distinct smell and clean environment. 10/10

I really enjoyed my stay at the Standord Hotel in New York. My room on the 9th floor was very spacious, more like a studio, with two queen beds, a large sofa, and a big bathroom. The location is excellent- just 2 minutes from the subway and right next to the Empire State Building. Breakfast was very basic but included in the price. My stay was during a snowstorm, so the hotel was short-staffed. When my flight was cancelled and I asked about extending my stay, there was some confusion with pricing, and the rate offered was higher than online, so I decided to change hotels. Overall, I had a great stay and would happily extend my stay with a better offer.

What a great hotel! The staff is very helpful, attentive and friendly. The room was great - comfortable, clean and quiet. The location was great for us - close enough to Penn and the flatiron district. Very close to the Empire State Building. Subway stop on the corner.

Such a well placed hotel in the heart of Manhattan with the subway literally a stones throw away allowing access to all of what you want to see in NYC (was so handy to have Penn station nearby too as it meant a quick and easy journey from the airport ). The staff were lovely and attentive. The rooms are decent and the cleaning was always consistent and polished. Genuinely recommend if you’re looking for a conveniently placed hotel with all the basic amenities you need.

My son and I had a wonderful time celebrating his 16 birthday. We stayed in room 811. It is quaint and small, comfortable and fitting for us. The breakfast was amazing each morning offering a variety of salad, eggs, cereal, toast and fruit. It was a dream come true for us. It was a huge change that most of New York doesn't offer a spa or pool. However, it was a divine location and close to everything. What truly added a special touch was the friendly staff. Akash, Steven, Jarif, Abraham, and Charles perfected our trip, making it the best place on earth and the reason for our return. Thanks guys. Much love Serena and Rustin
